Bill Maverick's A-100 1965 Dodge Little Red Wagon Wheel Stander Part 1

                       Bill Maverick's Golden's 1965 A-100
Dodge Truck The Little Red Wagon
The idea was to for this first truck build a drag wheel
    stander using a 1965 A-100 Dodge truck.From plans a
Hemi 426 CID built closes to the front of the cab.Two
four barrel carbureters, and two velocity stacks, with
Davis headers, would take care of the engine bay.
Steel white wheels, with small tires in the front and pie
crusts slicksin rear.A large heavy roll cage would help
protect the driver as he shifts the stick shift through
the gears,as he pops the clutch. As he sits down in his
seat, in his protective fire suit, gloves, goggles, helmet,
and respirator, and he leans back on the wheelie bars
doing his wheel stands in a quarter mile.As the very
crowds are roaring for more, watching this tomato red,
truck The Little Red Wagon in white lettering. The
truck also has in front Bill Maverick Golden in the
front.Maverick,is his nickname. The truck also has
a Moon Equipt gas tank, mounted under the frame
of the truck. It also has a stock painted white grill.
They loved it when Maverick got  to the end of the of
the drag strip quater mile,he pulled the yellow drag
cute on the tail gate.Men,woman and children were
very excited to see Bill Maverick Golden. It is,as he
had built the truck for them. The people would talk
    about this for days.
When the truck received many raves. Its was now
bright red paint,Maverick's in white, but the name
The Little Red Wagon  was now in canary yellow.
Also it had four American Racing Torque Thrust
Mags, pie crust slicks, and the gas tank was under
the truck's frame.Even the front grill had sparkling
stunning chrome. The light covers were chrome. When
the people saw the  new style of this truck,of this very to
favorite wheel stander, they were so happy,as they did
    it for them.
The truck was repainted candy apple red, with also
The Little Red Wagon, and his name was now in gold.
By 1978 The Little Red Wagon had some  very cool
Halibran Mags, and wider slicks. It still had some nice
Torque Thrust Mags in front, but from the front wheel
wells, going back to the bottom of the sides of this
truck bed, were cool pretty graphics to go with the
     seventy's.
Enjoy the pictures of this beautiful truck,or should
I say trucks. There are two of them, sinces the first,
had caught fire.So later only the second truck was
used. Both vehicles were sold in 2007 for $750,000.
The original, had to be restored, from the fire.
The newer one is in Don Garlits Dragster Hall of
Fame in his home town in Florida.enjoy the cool
videos too.To my right is a cut away view of the
famous The Little Red Wagon. Then the first cool
The Little Red Wagon. Underneith this is the first
426 CID Hemi with two four barrel carbs, and two
velocity stacks. Then the bright red truck design,
for The Little Red Wagon.I have in color and also
black and white. If you see the STP by that candy
red Little Red Wagon, now in gold, with Bill Golden
The Maverick standing by this,it is now 1969.It's
is at this time, even the bullets of the American
Torque Thust Mags are candy apple red.It is very
possible the next photo is now 1970.The rear slicks
have Halibrands. The last two pictures you know it
is far into the seventies, since, the slicks are larger.
In here are both Little Red Wagons in videos. You
also notice rare videos of The Little Red Wagon.
The one with the eight injector tubes is rare Dodge
video of The Little Red Wagon.
